History of Fly FIshing in America
On Thursday, August 9,
2012 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Twp. Public Library,3 7 E. Springtown Rd, Long
Valley, NJ, Andy Sutton, master fly tyer
and fly fishing historian, will trace the development of fly fishing tackle and
techniques from Colonial times up to the present. Also, fly tying from third
century Macedonia to now will be covered.
This power point
demonstration was developed by Andrew Hansen, who holds a degree in computer
science.

A program on flooding
awareness is being offered by the Washington Twp. Office of Emergency
Management on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Washington Twp.
