WTPL: November Kid's Programs

Washington Township Public Library at 37 E. Springtown Road in Long Valley, N.J. (www.wtpl.org) will hold the following children’s programs and registrations during November 2010:

* Please note – Washington Twp residents are given priority for all programs that require sign-ups.*

Book Buddies – through November 2nd – First and second graders practice your reading with a Big Buddy (volunteers in grades 5 and up).

Story Times: through November 4th
Mother Goose & Me: (up to 24 months): Thursdays @ 10am or 11am
Toddler Time: (ages 2-3): Tuesdays @ 10 am or 11am
Story Time : (ages 3-5 ): Wednesdays @ 10am or 1pm
We will have fun with stories, fingerplays, songs and more.

November 3rd(Wednesday)
Evening Story Time @ 7:00pm – Family Story Time – Join Mrs. Averett for Cowboy stories. No registration required.

November 4th(Thursday)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid Event @ 2:00pm – grades 2-5 - Join Mrs. Birch for everything Wimpy Kid – quizzes, drawing, snacks! Limited space - WT residents only, online sign-ups start 10/29.

November 5th(Friday)
Fall Fun Bingo @ 11:00am – ages 5 and up, Everyone is a winner! No registration required.

November 5th(Friday)
Gaming Day @ WTPL – 1:00-2:30pm – Kids in grades 3-5, join us for video and board games at the library. WT residents only – online registration starts 10/29.

November 6th(Saturday)
Family Story Time @ 11:00am – Join Mrs. Birch for stories & more – no registration required.
Family Movie @ 1:00pm – Join us for a recently released DVD about a Viking trying to train a dragon – PG – parents stay with children. No registration required.

November 8th(Monday)
LEGO Club @ 4:00pm – Kids ages 5-11 yrs can come to build exciting creations. WT residents only. Online sign ups start 11/1.

November 10th(Wednesday)
Music Together! @ 11:00am – for WT residents up to 2 years old w/parent. Join Cynthia as we move to and enjoy music with our youngsters. Space is limited - Online registration starts 11/3.

November 15th (Monday)
3-4 Book Club @ 4:00pm. Kids in grades 3 & 4 - Join us for the recently restructured group as we discuss horse stories and start a chapter book together – this month –Say Cheese, Medusa, part of the Myth-O-Mania series by Kate McMullan. Books & snacks will be available at the meeting.

November 17th(Wednesday)
Thanksgiving Feast-ival! @ 11:00am – Join us to celebrate stories, snacks and activities of the season. Please let us know if you are coming starting starting 11/3.

November 17th (Wednesday)
Afternoon Story Time @ 4:00pm – all ages welcome, no registration required. Join us for stories celebrating the season. No registration required.

November 22nd(Monday)
5-6 Book Club -– Please talk to Mrs. Birch if interested. We will be discussing Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen, DVD soon to be released. Books are available @ the library.

November 26th(Friday)
Family Movie @ 1:00pm – Join us for a recently released DVD about spy cats & dogs – PG – Parents stay with children. No registration required.
