On Monday, November 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at the Washington Twp. Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ, Charles McSorley, Historian, explores the life and career of Theodore Roosevelt through political cartoons, postcards, and pictures of the period.
Join us for a revealing presentation on Roosevelt’s life. Learn how he coped with late 19th century corporate corruption, an energy crisis and contaminated food supply, all while guiding the country from a primarily rural landscape to a more complex urban jungle. Discover how he dealt with other major players of his day including J.P. Morgan and socialist Eugene V. Debs. A Question and Answer period will follow presentation.
