Techniques in Watercolor Pencil Painting Class for Adults to be held at the Washington Twp Public Library


The Washington Twp. Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ is please to present a Watercolor Pencil Painting Class for adults entitled “Techniques in Watercolor Pencil Painting” on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 7 p.m.

Did you ever wonder how a watercolor painting could be created without using watercolor tube paints? Using watercolor pencils you can achieve the same effect! Learn how to paint this way and get wonderful results with Doris Schwint, artist. This step-by-step class will show you the basics, and you will complete a painting.

Space is limited to the first 20 registrants so registration is required.

 Doris Schwint is an artist who paints in water color, pastel, and pen & ink.  She  enjoys painting in a free flowing style in her water colors and uses glowing pastels in landscapes, florals, seascapes and figures. Her favorite subjects are local landscapes, Maine seascapes, and gardens.  Doris began her art career studying at Parson’s School of Design, NYC. She worked as an illustrator in New York and New Jersey; has exhibited widely and won many awards.
