The Garden Club of Long Valley is displaying a Standard Flower Show for the public from Oct 1st - 3rd at the Washington Township Public Library, 37 E. Springtown Rd., Long Valley, NJ. Viewing hours are: Friday 1:30-4:30pm, Saturday 10:00am-4:30pm and Sunday, 1-3 pm. The public is welcome and admission is free. Donations are welcomed.
This flower show will consist of 3 divisions consisting of Autumn inspired themes including Halloween and Thanksgiving. The show features horticulture, floral designs and special exhibits which will include exhibits from the Sprouts of Long Valley Jr. Garden Club, an Educational Exhibit about the Library’s Rain Garden and a coleus plant challenge class from our sponsored Garden Therapy group from Paragon Village.
The horticulture will feature classes of ornamental grasses, dahlias, gourds, pumpkins and perennial autumn flowers as well as flowering and berried trees and shrubs. The Sprouts of Long Valley will be exhibiting their horticulture, floral designs and birdhouses.
The Garden Club of Long Valley is a member of The National Garden Club, Inc. and District IV of The Garden Club of New Jersey.
