Journey through the most famous area of Belgium its northern section know as Flanders with Audrey Boise, tour escort and agent. Heading away from Brussels, brief visits will be made in the small towns of Mechelen and Lier before arriving in Antwerp, the kingdom’s largest port, second largest city and the home of Peter Paul Rubens. From there we will travel to Ghent, an old city which today serves as the hub of an important industrial area but retains some of its earlier historic sites from the Middle Ages. A brief detour will be made to the coast before reaching the climax and highlight of the trip: fantastic Bruges, where the almost unreal atmosphere of medieval times surrounds one!
