Washington Township Public Library at 37 E. Springtown Road in Long Valley, N.J. (www.wtpl.org) will hold the following children’s programs and registrations during November 2011:

Fall Story Time - *NOW EXTENDED THROUGH NOVEMBER 10th**
Mother Goose & Me: (up to 24 months): Thursdays @ 10am or 11am
Toddler Time: (ages 2-3): Tuesdays @ 10 am or 11am
Story Time : (ages 3-5 ): Wednesdays @ 10am or 1pm
We will have fun with stories, fingerplays, songs and more – no registration required.
Book Buddies – kids in grades 1 & 2 practice reading to Big Buddies (grades 5 and up) – GREAT volunteer opportunity!! Through November 8th, from 4:30-5:00pm. Please sign up with Mrs. Birch asap.

Evening Story Time @ 7:00pm – all ages are invited to join Mrs. Averett for fun with stories & more. No registration required

FOR PARENTS: Bullying Prevention Forum @ 7:00pm - sponsored by WT Municipal Alliance - presented by Dr. Paula Rust, member of the American Sociological Association, who has appeared as an expert on 20/20 and has been quoted in Newsweek. Dr. Rust will explain what the NJ Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights, described as one of the toughest in the nation, means for students, parents and schools. For more info go to www.wtpl.org. November 10th (Thursday)
Wimpy Kid Event @ 2:00pm – grades 2-5. Join Mrs. Birch for everything Wimpy. WT residents sign up online starting 11/3.
November 11th (Friday)
Everybody Game Day! Sponsored by WT Friends of the Library: From 1:00-4:00pm – all ages are invited to drop by – Grandparents, parents, kids – board games - Scrabble, Chess, Candyland – all your favorites. Snacks included – no registration needed.
November 14th (Monday)
LEGO Club @ 4:00pm – Kids ages 5-11 yrs can come to build exciting creations. WT residents only. Online sign ups start 11/7.
November 15th (Tuesday)
Gingerbread Cookie Decorating @ 4:30pm - Kids in grades 3-5: Bring a Gingerbread Man cookie to life! Decorate your own Gingerbread Man cookie while you hear about the history of gingerbread. Presented by Cookie Crumb Productions. WT residents register online starting 11/8.
November 16th (Wednesday)
Thanksgiving Feast-ival @ 10:30am – all ages are welcome to join us for stories, snacks & more to celebrate the upcoming holiday! Please sign up online starting 11/9.
